Cucumber Melon Shampoo Bar

How in the world do I use a shampoo bar?

Believe me, I asked myself the same thing.  You simply wet the bar, rub it in your hands and let the intense lather do all the work!  It’s for all types of hair – long, short, curly and straight.  The clean, crisp cucumber scent along with a subtly sweet ripe melon, the silky texture and zero waste by not throwing away a shampoo bottle will make you a convert too.

Product Note: If allowed to dry between uses, it will increase the life of the bar.

Some of Our Ingredients

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil in soap has many benefits for the skin, including cleansing, moisturizing, and providing antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.

Olive Oil

Olive oil makes a hard, long lasting soap with a gentle cleansing lather, suitable for all skin types including sensitive skins. High in Oleic acid, a soap made with olive oil will help to condition and soften your skin.

Shea Butter

Shea butter is obtained from the fruit of the karite tree, containing several important nutrients, including vitamins A and E and essential fatty acids which nourish and protect the skin. Shea butter is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties, which can help to soothe irritated skin. One of the best things about shea butter is that it is suitable for all skin types.

Cocoa Butter

Cocoa butter is high in fatty acids, which is why it’s often touted for its ability to hydrate and nourish the skin and improve elasticity. The fat in cocoa butter forms a protective barrier over skin to hold in moisture.

Hemp Seed Oil

Hemp oil, especially hemp seed oil, is rich in unsaturated fats such as linoleic acid, γ-linolenic acid, and α-linolenic acid.

These three fatty acids may help improve skin structure by helping the skin retain moisture. They also have a beneficial effect on dry, rough skin and can influence the fluidity of cell membranes and transport of electrolytes.

Castor Oil

Castor Oil contains high level of ricinoleic acid, and this offers excellent skin-soothing benefits helping to create a protective skin barrier.  It is the ricinoleic acid that makes this oil stand apart, with 80 to 90% of the entire fatty acid profile being comprised of unsaturated Omega-9.  However it also contains oleic, stearic and linoleic acids too.
